Basketball Recap: Sullivan Has No Trouble Against Heritage

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Sullivan's strategy against Heritage on Tuesday. The Sullivan Redskins took down the Heritage Hawks 59-44. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Redskins also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Heritage's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rylan White, who posted 17 points and seven boards. The match was White's eighth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Brayden Jones, who had nine points.

Sullivan's victory bumped their record up to 11-16. As for Heritage, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-21.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sullivan will host Warrensburg-Latham at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Warrensburg-Latham will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Sullivan surely won't give up without a fight. As for Heritage, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Unity Christian at 7:00 p.m.
