South is 1-9 against Central since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The South Bison's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Central Indians at 7:30 p.m. on February 15th. South will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wyoming Rankings (they are ranked 54th, while Central is ranked first).
Last Saturday, South took a serious blow against Natrona County, falling 69-42.
In what's become a running theme this season, Central gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. Everything went their way against Campbell County as Central made off with a 68-42 win. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Central had established a 23 point advantage.
South dropped their record down to 0-17 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 18-1.
South was dealt a bruising 71-28 defeat at the hands of Central in their previous matchup back in January. Can South avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
