The Grace Christian Crusaders can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They snuck past North Raleigh Christian Academy with a 74-69 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Grace Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ma'Kyi Butler out in front who scored 24 points. Butler hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryder Zingelmann, who scored 19 points.
Grace Christian now has a winning record of 12-11. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grace Christian will take on Riverside Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cary Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Cary Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches.
