If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Indianola Academy. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Winston Academy. Indianola Academy will be looking to build upon the 37-7 win they picked up against Winston Academy the last time they played.
Indianola Academy might have drawn first blood against Starkville Academy last week, but it was Starkville Academy who got the last laugh. Indianola Academy were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 14-20 to Starkville Academy.
Meanwhile, Winston Academy found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 10-42 punch to the gut against Copiah Academy.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
