River Valley has gone a perfect 3-0 against ALA - West Foothills recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Dust Devils will head out to take on the Guardians at 2:45 p.m. ALA - West Foothills took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on River Valley, who comes in off a win.

River Valley's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Winslow 12-0. The result was nothing new for the Dust Devils, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, ALA - West Foothills unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Kingman by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Guardians' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Brock Christensen was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched.

At the plate, ALA - West Foothills saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Johnny Garcia, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Garcia has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

River Valley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for ALA - West Foothills, their loss dropped their record down to 17-7.

River Valley came out on top in a nail-biter against ALA - West Foothills in their previous matchup back in March, sneaking past 6-4.
