Even though the Bennett Tigers have not done well against The Pinnacle Timberwolves recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Bennett came out on top against The Pinnacle by a score of 58-51. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bennett.
Bennett got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Owen Stiers out in front who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Francis, who scored 12 points.
The win got Bennett back to even at 3-3. As for The Pinnacle, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bennett will take on Lake County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Lake County is ranked 207th, while Bennett is ranked 204th). As for The Pinnacle, they will be playing at home against Arrupe Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Arrupe Jesuit is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
