If Southern wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Trimble, they should've done a better job of containing Rilynn Fouts. The Trimble Tomcats strolled past the Southern Tornadoes with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 45-28 thanks in part to Fouts, who posted 14 points and seven rebounds. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024.

The team also got some help courtesy of Mckenzie Eing, who went 7 for 11 on her way to 14 points and five boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games she's played.

Trimble's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Southern, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Trimble has already played their next contest, a 59-21 defeat against Federal Hocking on the 5th. As for Southern, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 54-40 win against Eastern on the 6th.
