After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thomas Heyward Academy, The Patrick Henry Academy Patriots were happy to have found some success on Friday. They came out on top against St. John's Christian Academy by a score of 28-21. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Patrick Henry Academy also won the last time the pair played back in August.
Patrick Henry Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Forest Fairey, who picked up 168 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Fairey was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 66 yards. Hugh Fairey was another key contributor, throwing for 267 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per attempt.
Patrick Henry Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for St. John's Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Patrick Henry Academy will head out on the road to face off against Dorchester Academy on Friday. Dorchester Academy will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. St. John's Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
