Plymouth Christian Academy barely beat Novi the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Wildcats 13-6 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven games by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Sophie Paryaski was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out seven batters over  seven innings while giving up  four earned  (and two unearned) runs off   eight  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Chloe Paryaski and  Ellie Weertz did most of the damage at the plate:  Chloe  went 3-for-5 with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double, while  Weertz  went a perfect 4-for-4 with two  runs and one  stolen base. That's the most  hits  Paryaski has posted since back in May of 2024.  Mariah Wright was another key player,  going 1-for-5 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 Plymouth Christian Academy was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .400. They are  a perfect 6-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Plymouth Christian Academy's victory was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 10-5. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Novi,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-9.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plymouth Christian Academy will challenge Oakland Christian at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Novi, they will take on Plymouth at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
