The Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles are taking a road trip to  face off against the Boyne City Ramblers  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Plymouth Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4  runs per game  this season.
Plymouth Christian Academy was handed a heart-breaking two-run  loss in their last  matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Lutheran  on Thursday. The Eagles were the clear victors by  a  14-2 margin over the Warriors. The  win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won seven in a row.
 Sophie Paryaski and  Clara Groen were major factors no matter where they played. On the mound,  Paryaski   pitched three innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   four  hits. Meanwhile,  Groen   kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Paryaski has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 17 consecutive appearances. At bat,  Paryaski  went 2-for-5 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  double, while  Groen  went 2-for-5 with two  runs and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Chloe Paryaski was  incredible,  going 4-for-5 with one  home run, four  runs,  and four  RBI. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in May of 2024.  Olivia Botosan also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  double of the season.
 Plymouth Christian Academy  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 17  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
Boyne City couldn't beat St. Francis  on Thursday even though they stacked seven runs on them in the third inning. The Ramblers fell just short of the Gladiators by a score of  9-8. The Ramblers haven't had much luck with the Gladiators recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
 Boyne City saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Sidney Bush, who  went 1-for-4 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.  Natalie Grobaski was another,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  RBI.
 Plymouth Christian Academy's record is now 16-7. As for Boyne City, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
 Plymouth Christian Academy beat Boyne City 9-4  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
