Utica has been on the road for three straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Warren Woods-Tower Titans at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Utica is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Warren Woods-Tower in Michigan (Utica is ranked 14th, while Warren Woods-Tower is ranked 421st).
Last Tuesday, Utica didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Anchor Bay, but they still walked away with a 51-45 win. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Utica has scored all season.
Utica got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mason Brodi out in front who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The game was Brodi's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ali Hassan, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Warren Woods-Tower pushed their score all the way to 65 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 73-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of L'Anse Creuse.
Utica's win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Warren Woods-Tower, they have fallen quite a ways from their 17-7 record last season and are now at 2-4.
