Despite the loss, Master's Academy still got an impressive performance from Carissa Hennessey, who scored 8 points along with 23 rebounds and 5 steals. Hennessey scored a full 57.1% of Master's Academy's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Leading Jupiter Christian to victory were Emilia Edgar and Addison Simmons. Edgar scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists, while Simmons almost dropped a triple-double on 11 points, 16 rebounds, and 9 steals. Jenna Albright was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 6 rebounds.
Master's Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Jupiter Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Master's Academy will face off against John Carroll Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
