They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Clay County Christian Academy 41-12 on the road. The win was nothing new for Cornerstone Christian as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Cornerstone Christian was led to victory by Tamia Ballard and Sadie Camp. Ballard scored five points along with seven steals, while Camp scored 12 points. Ballard has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Makenna Miller, who scored two points along with five steals.
Cornerstone Christian is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. As for Clay County Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Cornerstone Christian will look to defend their home court on Monday against Mt. Pleasant Christian at 6:00 p.m. Mt. Pleasant Christian's defense has only allowed 29.7 points per game this season, so Cornerstone Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them. Clay County Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
