A Season-Best Effort from Vincent Hoover Leads Juniata Valley over Curwensville
On Friday, Juniata Valley got the W thanks in part to Vincent Hoover playing the best football he has all season. Hoover rushed for 295 yards and four touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble and making eight total tackles.

He rushed for 159 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making 15 total tackles.
If history really does repeat itself, Reifer might just drop another big game when he faces off against West Branch on Friday. When Reifer last faced the Warriors back in October of 2023, he rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

Mount Union Wins Third-Straight Thanks to Georgie Bilger
Georgie Bilger's big game helped extend Mount Union's winning streak to three on Friday. Southern Huntingdon County had no answer to Bilger as he picked up two sacks and made 14 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Mount Union pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Bilger and Mount Union will head out to take on Claysburg-Kimmel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Mason Campagna Turns in Another Game with at Least Two Rushing Touchdowns
Mason Campagna's big game helped extend Claysburg-Kimmel's winning streak to six on Friday. Moshannon Valley had no answer to Campagna as he rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 134 yards and a touchdown. Campagna is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.
Claysburg-Kimmel pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Campagna and Claysburg-Kimmel have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Mount Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Nasir Collins Makes It Two for Mount Union
The second Mount Union player making an appearance here is Nasir Collins, and for good reason. He wasn't messing around on Friday, making ten total tackles. The matchup was his third straight with two or more rushing touchdowns dating back to last season.
