The Rancocas Valley Red Devils entered their tilt with the Lenape Indians with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Rancocas Valley came out on top against Lenape by a score of 13-3 on Saturday. For Rancocas Valley, this counts as revenge for the 18-0 loss Lenape walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2021.
Among those leading the charge was Nicholas Marco, who rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown.
Another reason for the win was Rancocas Valley's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Leading the way was Malachi Castle and his two sacks.
Rancocas Valley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Lenape, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Rancocas Valley will head out on the road to face off against Washington Township at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Washington Township will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last. Lenape does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
