A Season-Best Performance from Mitchell Labrado Leads Laguna Creek over Elk Grove
On Friday, Laguna Creek had to settle for second even though Mitchell Labrado put up the best numbers he has all season. Labrado threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 38 yards. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. His passing game has become a key predictor of Laguna Creek's success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-4 otherwise.
