Germantown has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Brandon Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Brandon took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Germantown, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Germantown was able to grind out a solid win over Terry, taking the game 41-32. The squad ran away with 32 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.
Raegan Jordan was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Charlie Gamberine was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, Brandon's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. Their rough 49-29 loss to Biloxi might stick with them for a while.
The losses dropped Germantown to 4-5 and Terry to 6-2.
Germantown took their win against Brandon in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 48-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for Germantown since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
