On Saturday North Toole County will take on Stanford/Geyser/Denton at 1:00 PM. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, North Toole County have to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps state rankings on their side for this one.
North Toole County scored well below their previous average of 47 points per game last Saturday, but luckily it didn't cost them. They were gifted an easy victory as Fairfield/Augusta wound up forfeiting 0-2. The success represented a nice turnaround for North Toole County, who in their last game suffered a tough 43-78 loss.
Meanwhile, Stanford/Geyser/Denton came into their this week averaging 35.17 points per game, but Stanford/Geyser/Denton fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 6-35 walloping at Geraldine/Highwood's hands. The blowout was painful but not necessarily a suprise as Geraldine/Highwood enjoys a considerable advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
North Toole County's win lifted them to 5-3 while Stanford/Geyser/Denton's defeat dropped them down to 4-3. Two forfeits in a row aren't very likely, so North Toole County better be ready for a battle.
