The Lakeland Regional Lancers had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Bergen Tech by a score of 58-49 on Thursday. For Lakeland Regional, this counts as revenge for the 53-37 defeat Bergen Tech walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Noah Pagan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Meakem, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.
Lakeland Regional's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9. As for Bergen Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
Lakeland Regional will stay at home for another game and welcome Fair Lawn at 4:15 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Bergen Tech, they will head out on the road to take on Pompton Lakes at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
