Mount Si faced North Creek in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Wildcats took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Anna Braukus was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run and six RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played. Ally Hetzel was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Mount Si's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for North Creek, the win keeps they at an undefeated 13-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mount Si will square off against rival Woodinville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, North Creek is set to challenge their familiar foe Hazen at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
