Edgewood is a perfect 4-0 against Fallston since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will face off against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Edgewood will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Edgewood's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 29-0 win over C. Milton Wright. Considering the Rams have won five matchups by more than 21 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Fallston earned a 35-22 victory over Joppatowne on Thursday.

Edgewood better keep an eye on Michael Griffin. He was instrumental in Fallston's win, rushing for 216 yards and four scores while picking up 13.5 yards per carry, and also throwing for 100 yards on seven of 15 attempts. Griffin was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 58 yards. Abi Archibong was another key player, rushing for 137 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.6 yards per carry.

Fallston was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 372 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 204 rushing yards in six consecutive contests.

Fallston didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Trent Richter and Gage Hicks. Hicks is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Edgewood's record now sits at 7-0. As for Fallston, their record is now 6-1.

Everything came up roses for Edgewood against Fallston in their previous matchup back in November of 2018, as the team secured a 44-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
