Heights has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Westside Wolves at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Heights will be strutting in after a win while Westside will be coming in after a defeat.
Heights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Austin at home to the tune of 79-35. That 79-35 margin sets a new team best for Heights this season.
Meanwhile, Westside took a serious blow against Bellaire on Friday, falling 79-50. While losing is never fun, Westside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 568th, while Bellaire is ranked 203rd).
Heights' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12. As for Westside, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.
Heights strolled past Westside in their previous meeting back in February by a score of 64-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Heights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
