The Chamois Pirates will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the New Bloomfield Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. New Bloomfield took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Chamois, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Chamois didn't have too much trouble with Bourbon at home as they won 49-35. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Chamois.
Meanwhile, New Bloomfield took a serious blow against South Callaway on Friday, falling 69-36. New Bloomfield has struggled against South Callaway recently, as their matchup on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Jacob Fuhriman put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 14 points. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points. Alex Massman was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Their wins bumped Chamois to 4-2 and Bourbon to 2-3.
Chamois beat New Bloomfield 61-53 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Will Chamois repeat their success, or does New Bloomfield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
