The Bodine Ambassadors will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Masterman at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bodine is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.5 points per game this season.
On Thursday, Bodine needed a bit of extra time to put away Girard College. They skirted past the Cavaliers 56-53. The Ambassadors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Bodine's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Francisco Nunez, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. Nunez has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Nigeir Fisher was another key player, putting up 14 points in addition to eight boards and four steals.
Bodine was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Girard College only posted four.
Meanwhile, Masterman came up short against Parkway Center City on Friday, falling 57-37. Masterman hasn't had much luck with Parkway Center City recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Masterman's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bodine, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
