The Seven Rivers Christian Warriors will head out to challenge the Seffner Christian Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Seven Rivers Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Hernando Christian Academy on Tuesday as they made off with a 22-6 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Natalee Tidwell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off three hits. Tidwell was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Seven Rivers Christian lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Seffner Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over Academy at the Lakes. The win was nothing new for the Crusaders as they're now sitting on five straight.
Allison Baston spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Tenley Newman was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
Seffner Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 3.25 runs across that stretch. As for Seven Rivers Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-16 record this season.
Seffner Christian's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Seven Rivers Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .479. It's a different story for Seffner Christian, though, as they've only averaged .343. Will they be able to contain Seven Rivers Christian's hitters?
Seven Rivers Christian couldn't quite finish off Seffner Christian in their previous matchup back in March and fell 4-2. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
