The Glenn Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 59-44 to Mount Tabor. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Glenn in their matchups with Mount Tabor: they've now lost five in a row.
Glenn lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Noni Jones, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Artrell Napper was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Glenn struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Mount Tabor, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glenn will face off against East Forsyth at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount Tabor, they will head out on the road to square off against Reagan at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Reagan knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully Mount Tabor likes a good challenge.
