Dieterich posted their biggest win since December 28, 2024 on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles with a sharp 61-41 victory. The Movin Maroons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Lucas Westendorf, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Landen Keck, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 15 points.

Dieterich has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for Brownstown/St. Elmo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.

Dieterich wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 50-32 win against Altamont on the 31st. Brownstown/St. Elmo has also already played their next contest, a 61-41 victory against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City on the 30th.
