Show Low will head out on the road to take on Chino Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday. Show Low is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
Show Low is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Tuba City on Thursday as they made off with a 17-1 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Parker Eriksen
| 03/05/26 vs Tuba City | 7 |
| 03/01/25 @ Bagdad | 6 |
| 03/25/25 vs Blue Ridge | 4 |

| 04/22/25 vs Holbrook | 3 |
Parker Eriksen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mason Bigos, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Kash Perkins, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
Show Low was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .619. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .438 or higher in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Chino Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over Bourgade Catholic on Tuesday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Jacob Boivin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on seven hits and racked up ten Ks.
At the plate, Caden Doak was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs. Destry Owings also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Chino Valley now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Show Low, their record is now 7-1.
Saturday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Show Low has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .576. However, it's not like Chino Valley struggles in that department as they've averaged .450. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Show Low was able to grind out a solid victory over Chino Valley in their previous meeting back in March of 2025, winning 9-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for Show Low since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
