Lake had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Genoa Area Comets as they made off with a 13-1 victory. Considering the Flyers have won seven games by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Lake's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Genoa Area, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
