For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Eastern View and Caroline have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Cyclones were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Cavaliers. Considering the Cyclones have won six matchups by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Eastern View's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Caroline, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Looking ahead, Eastern View will head out to challenge Courtland at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cyclones 3.1, the Cougars 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Caroline, they will welcome Mechanicsville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Cavaliers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
