Konley Cova Turns in Season-Best Performance
Konley Cova produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Wheatland to the win on Friday. Cova's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 103 rushing yards. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up three sacks and making seven total tackles (4.0 for loss).
The victory for Wheatland keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Cova and Wheatland will head out on the road to challenge Marysville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Ogles Made His Presence Known in Oakmont's 28-7 Win
Oakmont found a leader in Beau Ogles as the team took down Lincoln on Friday. Lincoln had no answer to Ogles as he threw for 226 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. Ogles' longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Oakmont's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Ogles and Oakmont will head out on the road to square off against Mira Loma at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Colton Burns' Big Game Leads Wheatland over Mira Loma
Wheatland picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Colton Burns. Burns did his part (and then some), picking up a sack and making 13 total tackles in addition to snagging two interceptions which he returned one-yard for a touchdown for the 'W'.

Jaylen Brown Delivers Best Effort of Season
Jaylen Brown produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Marysville to the win on Friday. Brown rushed for 33 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 138 yards and a touchdown on only ten passes.
Marysville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. Brown and Marysville will welcome Wheatland at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
