Classical Academy came tearing into Thursday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42.2 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 54-6 win over the Francis Parker Lancers. Given the Caimans' advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 35th, while the Lancers are ranked 389th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Classical Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mary Hayes and Baylie Ciramele. Ciramele got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Classical Academy's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Francis Parker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Classical Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 44-0 win against Santa Fe Christian on the 16th.
