Most high school softball fields aren't equipped with stereo systems and speakers, but that doesn't stop Rocky Point when they're at home or on the road.
The Eagles (5-7, 5-9) play to the sound of their own lively chatter in the dugout, singing songs for leadoff hitters, foul balls and just about every other aspect of the game.

It pumped up senior pitcher Jackie Enlund enough to orchestrate a six-hit, 12 strike out performance in an 11-0 win against Comsewogue in a Suffolk Division III crossover game on Wednesday afternoon.
"I love it, just hearing everyone scream," said Enlund, a five-year varsity player.
Edmund, who has won her last three contests, threw screw balls and curveballs to make up for a wide strike-zone against the Warriors (1-11 League, 1-12 Overall).
"We had big hits from everybody, everyone ran the bases really well and there was a lot of good fielding out there," Enlund said.
Cassie Jonaitis went 3-for-4 with two runs batted to power the Eagles' 11-run onslaught.
