On Thursday, everything went Bronson's's way against Whitmore Lake as Bronson made off with a 68-44 victory. Given Bronson's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 254th, while Whitmore Lake is ranked 519th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Kamron Brackett, who shot 5-for-10 from long range and dropped a double-double on 37 points and 14 rebounds. Those 14 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Drew Norton, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Bronson's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Whitmore Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
Bronson will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Quincy at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
