On Saturday, Hope Academy had to suffer through a rough 57-30 loss at the hands of Trenton. Hope Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-13.
Nyima Gillyard continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Trenton, scoring 23 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Koi Perry was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six assists and six rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Hope Academy and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Trenton, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-2.

Hope Academy will play host again and welcome Varsity Opponent, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Trenton, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Chiefland at 6:30 p.m. Chiefland is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
