STEM School Highlands Ranch pushed the score to 43-23 by the end of the third, a deficit Aurora West College Prep Academy cut but never quite recovered from.
Leading STEM School Highlands Ranch to victory were Avi Thakkar and Tyler Munro. Thakkar scored 15 points, while Munro dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Ben Yoder was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
STEM School Highlands Ranch's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 9-6. As for Aurora West College Prep Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
