Canton and Windsor Locks are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Warriors will head out to challenge the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Canton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.
Canton had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Bolton on Wednesday. The Warriors never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory. That 14-run margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

Wyatt Bernabucci and James Canny were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Bernabucci pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Canny pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, Bernabucci posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025. At bat, Bernabucci went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI, while Canny went 2-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That RBI was Bernabucci's first of the season.
In other batting news, Canton got a big performance out of Kyle Hiscox, who went 2-for-5 with two runs and one RBI. Shea Flaherty was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Canton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bolton only managed eight.
Meanwhile, Windsor Locks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Granby Memorial, falling 10-2.
Windsor Locks saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zavier Hunt, who went 1-for-4 with one run.
Canton now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Windsor Locks, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
Windsor Locks' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Canton hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .414. It's a different story for Windsor Locks, though, as they've only averaged .115. Will they be able to contain Canton's hitters?
Canton couldn't quite get it done against Windsor Locks when the teams last played back in May of 2025 as they fell 10-5. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
