Dumm Posts Huge Game in 28-0 Victory
Starting off the list is Northern Cambria's Ty Dumm, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dumm rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 115 yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run.
Dumm might have his next game, a road matchup with Conemaugh Township, circled on his calendar. When Dumm last faced the Indians back in September of 2023, he rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

United Valley co-op [Blacklick Valley/United] picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Dylan Stephens. Stephens did his part (and then some), rushing for 95 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.
United Valley co-op [Blacklick Valley/United] now has a winning record of 4-3. Stephens and United Valley co-op [Blacklick Valley/United] will take on Penns Manor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

While West Shamokin might've come up empty on Friday, Cole Wingard wasn't going down without a fight. Homer-Center had no answer to Wingard as he rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. Wingard showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 64 yards.
West Shamokin is on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. Wingard will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Conemaugh Valley on Friday.

Sam Yanits' Big Game Leads River Valley over Conemaugh Valley
Sam Yanits was instrumental in extending River Valley's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Yanits as he rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 68 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Yanits might just drop another big game when he faces off against Marion Center on Friday. When Yanits last faced the Stingers back in September of 2023, he rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown.
