Basketball Recap: Pineapple Cove Classical Academy Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Pineapple Cove Classical Academy Patriots took a blow against the John Carroll Catholic Rams, falling 66-25.

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Michael Barna, who posted 12 points, and Caudly Dieudonne, who had six points.

John Carroll Catholic got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was D'Angelo Bonilla out in front who went 6 of 9 on his way to 16 points. Bonilla is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Brandon James was another key player, putting up nine points.

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for John Carroll Catholic, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-50 victory against Brevard HEAT on the 4th. As for John Carroll Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-25 win against Odyssey Charter School on the 5th.
