Wellington put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Augusta 35-14. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Wellington had established a 28-7 advantage.
Augusta's loss came about despite a quality game from sophomore Ryan Andrews, who rushed for 99 yards and 2 touchdowns. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse senior Dominik Ketchum, who racked up 15 tackles. The game brought Wellington to 3-1 and dropped Augusta to a mirror-image 1-3.
Next week Wellington take on Rose Hill at 7:00 PM. Wellington will be strutting in after a win while Rose Hill will be stumbling in from a defeat. As for Augusta, they will face off against Winfield.
