The Providence Athletic Club Panthers will head out to take on the Swansea Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Providence Athletic Club is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 13 games.
Providence Athletic Club barely beat Hammond the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers put the hurt on the Skyhawks with a sharp 6-0 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.
Kaylin Otey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Bridget Kean was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Meanwhile, Swansea suffered their closest defeat since February 24th last Wednesday. They fell just short of Bamberg-Ehrhardt by a score of 7-5.
Swansea saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyanna Myers, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. That double was Myers' first of the season. Another was Jazz'Lynn Smith, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Providence Athletic Club pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Swansea, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
Providence Athletic Club took their win against Swansea in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
