Blanchester won the last time they faced Clermont Northeastern and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats blew past the Rockets 10-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Sammy Roush made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Roush was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Cole Mueller was a standout: he scored two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Cooper Reynolds was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

Blanchester always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clermont Northeastern only posted an OBP of .222.

Blanchester now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Clermont Northeastern, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.
