Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy managed a 71-67 win over Forest Lake Academy on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy was led to victory by Randy Sanders and Zaki Parham. Sanders scored 23 points along with nine rebounds, while Parham scored 26 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Parham has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Zair Fems, who scored six points along with 11 assists.
Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Forest Lake Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Mishawaka HomeSchool W at 10:30 a.m. on January 26th. As for Forest Lake Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Mary Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
