Atrisco Heritage Academy had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 12-12 to make it four. They fell 7-2 to the Rio Grande Ravens. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Jaguars couldn't push the score so high this time.

Atrisco Heritage Academy got a good showing from Estevan Flores, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Flores also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Jaguars are 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 9-11 otherwise.
At the plate, Samuel Gonzalez made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.
As for Rio Grande, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games.
On Rio Grande's side, Lorenzo Martinez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Martinez has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Atrisco Heritage Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-6 loss against Hope Christian on the 29th.
