The Berean Academy Eagle stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 53-32 margin over Cedar View Christian. Berean Academy's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Berean Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Austen Harvey, who scored 16 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Harvey also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Barret Hasley, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Berean Academy pushed their record up to 10-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points per game. As for Cedar View Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
Berean Academy will head out on the road to square off against Hixson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hixson is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Cedar View Christian, they will be playing at home against White Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. White Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
