The War Hill Christian Academy Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Grace Christian Academy EAGLES at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. War Hill Christian Academy is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
On Tuesday, War Hill Christian Academy was beaten by St. John Bosco Academy 75-41.
Despite their defeat, War Hill Christian Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Parker Rawlings, who scored eight points along with four steals, was perhaps the best of all. Rawlings hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Aaron Stewart was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Grace Christian Academy entered their tilt with Konos Academy with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Grace Christian Academy took down Konos Academy 69-53 on Tuesday. Given Grace Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 69th, while Konos Academy is ranked 319th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
War Hill Christian Academy now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Grace Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
War Hill Christian Academy lost to Grace Christian Academy on the road by a decisive 70-54 margin when the teams last played back in January. Can War Hill Christian Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
