There's no place like home for Hope Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Nazaret Christian Academy Lions out 67-65. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojan Tigers have posted since February 21, 2024.

Hope Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dwayne Foreman III out in front who posted 27 points in addition to six assists and three steals. The matchup was Foreman III's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Nehemiah Rapael was another key player, going 5 for 9 en route to 18 points and seven rebounds.

Hope Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.0 points per game. As for Nazaret Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Hope Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 72-49 victory against Trinity Catholic on the 14th. As for Nazaret Christian Academy, they will challenge Southern Coast Academy Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Southern Coast Academy Regional's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
