Central came tearing into Thursday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Villa Rica Wildcats by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Central never let Villa Rica on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19.

Macey Mount paced Central's offense, picking up ten kills. Mount got some help from Abby Kreft and her 12 assists.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 32-9. As for Villa Rica, they dropped their record down to 23-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Jonesboro on the 8th. As for Villa Rica, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Lithia Springs on the 9th.
