Softball Recap: Olympia Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Olympia had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans 17-1. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

Olympia's win bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Maroa-Forsyth, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Olympia will face off against rival PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Maroa-Forsyth is set to challenge their familiar foe New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
