Redan has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They and the East Coweta Indians will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Redan will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 284th, while the Indians are ranked 137th).
Last Saturday, Redan was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 49-43 to the War Eagles.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jamir Brown, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jordan Francis, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, even though Callaway scored an imposing 64 points on Saturday, East Coweta still came out on top. East Coweta walked away with a 73-64 win over the Cavaliers.
Redan now has a losing record at 10-11. As for East Coweta, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
